And then you have to turn the volume on and wait for the second red light to say ready OK and then you can test it. I saw the jeweler use this kind of device in the store I like to buy from.

The accuracy of this tool is remarkable, making it suitable for both experts and newbies like me. So mine came with a tester of battery and two pieces a metal piece with holes and a plastic piece that looks like an E. Affordable, accurate recommended. You may need a step up from this device if your checking moassinites other than that this one services well, just turn on, wait for both lights to turn red, then as instructed lightly hold on stone. The ring beeped and tested positive whereas the CZ did not react!

I also played around with touching the metal parts of my jewelry and it beeps constantly vs the pulsing beep of a real diamond. The media could not be loaded. As a novice in the field of jewelry, this tool has been incredibly helpful in distinguishing between genuine diamonds and other gemstones.
