I have to say that of the 12 that came in the box, I have only used (for now) two, and the second one I started using because the first one made a creak when I pressed for the mine to come out, but it worked perfectly, I just didn't want to have to hear that. Don't bin these after use; buy a pack of 0. Good value, work great and refillable.

In my case 5 red, 3 blue, 3 yellow and 1 green. They don't go bad, they write well and with the amount they come, we have mechanical pencil for a while. 7mm refills, take the rubber off the end, and pop the refill lead into the tiny hole, after a couple of clicks it's ready to use again. Each of them has 3 built-in 0.
